Frequently Asked Questions
Do customers need an app to use this?
No app is needed. Any NFC-enabled smartphone — iPhone XS and later, most Android phones from 2019 onwards — can read the plate with a simple tap. Customers without NFC can scan the printed QR code instead. Both methods open your Google review page instantly.
What size should I choose for my counter?
The Ø100mm round and 100×100mm square are the best-selling sizes — large enough to be noticeable on a counter or table without taking too much space. Smaller sizes (Ø75mm, 80×80mm) work for tighter spots. Larger plates (120mm) are better for wall mounting or high-traffic venues where visibility matters most.
Can I link to something other than Google reviews?
Yes. The plate can be encoded with any URL — Google reviews, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, your menu, or your website. Just share your target link when ordering. You can also order blank plates and encode them yourself — we provide full guidance.
Is the NFC link permanent? Can I update it?
The link is permanently encoded and cannot be changed after delivery. If your Google review URL changes or you want to point to a new page, simply order new plates with the updated link. If you need the flexibility to update links, ask us about NFC tags that support dynamic URL redirects — we can advise based on your setup.
How durable are the plates in a restaurant or salon environment?
All materials are designed for daily commercial use. Epoxy and acrylic plates are scratch-resistant and waterproof, easy to wipe clean. PVC handles everyday use well. Wood plates are finished for light moisture resistance. For high-traffic or wet surfaces, epoxy or acrylic is recommended. An anti-metal NFC plate for restaurant metal tables is also available.
