Product Overview
RFIDSU's Washable Woven NFC Tags combine traditional woven label craftsmanship with modern NFC functionality. Unlike printed fabric tags, these labels are manufactured using embroidery or jacquard weaving techniques, producing a slightly raised, textured surface with a premium hand feel and refined appearance.
Built with woven fabric and embedded NFC chips compatible with NTAG213, ICODE SLIX, MIFARE Ultralight EV1, and Fudan F08 (MIFARE Classic 1K compatible), these tags deliver stable NFC read ranges of 0-5 cm for access control, tap-to-verify authentication, and interactive consumer applications. Installation is flexible — sew directly into fabric seams or heat-press onto garments using a desktop press.
Each tag supports factory-encoded URLs, serial numbers, or custom NFC data before shipping, and can be woven with custom brand logos and patterns. Standard and custom shapes are both supported — fully tailored to brand requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Woven NFC Tags and printed fabric NFC tags?
Woven NFC tags are manufactured using embroidery or jacquard weaving — the design is physically woven into the fabric, creating a raised, textured surface with a premium look. Printed fabric tags have designs applied on the surface and may fade or wear over time. Woven tags offer superior aesthetic quality and durability for high-end garment applications.
How are these tags installed onto garments?
Two methods are available: (1) Sew-on — the tag is stitched directly into seams, neck labels, or side seams using standard sewing machines; (2) Iron-on — a heat-activated adhesive backing allows quick attachment using a desktop heat press or household iron at 160-180°C for 15-20 seconds with double-layer bonding.
Can the woven design be customized with our brand logo?
Yes. The woven pattern is fully customizable — brand logos, text, and decorative elements can be incorporated into the embroidery or jacquard weaving design. Unlike printed tags, the design is physically woven into the fabric and will not fade or peel.
What chip options are available and which should I choose?
NTAG213 is the most popular choice for general NFC applications (144 bytes user memory). ICODE SLIX offers longer read range via ISO 15693. MIFARE Ultralight EV1 is a cost-effective entry-level option. Fudan F08 provides MIFARE Classic 1K compatibility with encryption for access control scenarios.
How many wash cycles can these tags withstand?
Under standard household washing conditions at 50°C, the tags can withstand 50-100 wash cycles while maintaining NFC functionality. They are not designed for industrial high-temperature laundering.
Can the tags be pre-encoded with URLs or data before shipping?
Yes. RFIDSU offers factory pre-encoding with your specified URLs, serial numbers, or custom NFC data. Blank (unencoded) tags are also available for customers who prefer to encode in-house.
