Product Overview

13.56MHz blank PVC NFC cards operate at the HF band and comply with ISO/IEC 14443 Type A standards. Unlike low-frequency proximity cards, these NFC-enabled cards communicate directly with NFC smartphones, enabling tap-to-link, digital business card sharing, and smart marketing interactions without dedicated readers.

Available with NXP NTAG21x series (NTAG213, NTAG215, NTAG216) for NFC Forum Type 2 applications, or MIFARE Classic 1K/4K for encrypted access control and transport ticketing systems. All cards come in standard CR80 credit card size (85.6 × 54 mm), made from durable PVC with smooth surface for full-color offset, silk screen, or digital printing.

Pre-encoding options include URL links, serial numbers, and NDEF messages for immediate deployment out of the box.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between NTAG213, NTAG215, and NTAG216?
The main difference is user memory capacity. NTAG213 has 144 bytes (suitable for short URLs), NTAG215 has 504 bytes (ideal for vCard contact data), and NTAG216 has 888 bytes (for rich NDEF content like multi-field vCard with photo). All three share the same ISO 14443A protocol and NFC Forum Type 2 compliance. For most marketing and 13.56MHz blank PVC NFC cards applications, NTAG213 offers the best value.
Can these NFC cards work with smartphones?
Yes. NTAG21x series cards (NTAG213/215/216) are NFC Forum Type 2 compliant and work with all NFC-enabled smartphones (Android and iOS). Simply tap the card against your phone to trigger the encoded action — open a URL, share contact info, or launch an app. MIFARE Classic chips have limited smartphone compatibility and are primarily used with dedicated readers.
What is the difference between NTAG and MIFARE Classic chips?
NTAG chips are NFC Forum Type 2 tags optimized for smartphone interaction and NDEF data storage (URLs, vCard, text). MIFARE Classic chips use CRYPTO1 encryption with sector-based access control, making them better suited for access control systems, transport ticketing, and secure applications. NTAG chips offer 7-byte UIDs; MIFARE Classic uses 4-byte UIDs.
Can you pre-encode the NFC cards with my data?
Yes. We offer pre-encoding services for URL links, vCard contact data, Wi-Fi credentials, custom serial numbers, and NDEF messages. For NTAG chips, we can encode full NDEF records. For MIFARE Classic, we can write sector keys and data blocks per your specifications. Just provide your encoding requirements and we handle the rest.
What printing options are available for PVC NFC cards?
We support full-color offset printing for photographic quality artwork, silk screen printing for solid colors and Pantone matching, and digital thermal transfer for variable data (names, numbers, barcodes). Surface finish options include glossy, matte, and frosted. Hot stamping and embossing are also available for premium card designs.
