RFIDSU's UHF RFID Mat Floor Antenna series is specifically engineered for marathon race timing and sports event applications. The complete Mat Floor Antenna features a 2000×300mm rubber mat form factor with integrated 7dBi linear polarization antenna, designed for precise participant detection at start and finish lines. Its wide 73° horizontal beam coverage ensures accurate timing across the entire race width, capturing every runner's RFID tag as they cross the mat.
For timing system integrators and event organizers, the Antenna Module for Mat offers the same 7dBi performance in a compact 234×140mm package. This embedded module can be integrated into custom timing mats or existing race infrastructure, providing flexibility for marathon organizers, triathlon events, and track & field competitions requiring reliable chip timing solutions.
Both solutions support EU (865-868MHz) and US (902-928MHz) frequency bands with ISO18000-6C/EPC Gen2 protocol compatibility. The low VSWR (≤1.5) design maximizes power efficiency and read range performance, ensuring consistent tag detection even at high speeds — critical for accurate race timing where every second counts.
