Why only NTAG215? Can I use NTAG213 or NTAG216 for Amiibo?
No. Amiibo data requires exactly 504 bytes of storage — the memory size of NTAG215. NTAG213 has only 144 bytes and NTAG216 has 888 bytes, neither matching the format Nintendo devices expect. Only NTAG215 is recognized as a valid Amiibo tag. Every tag we ship uses 100% original NTAG215 chips.
Are these tags pre-loaded with Amiibo game data?
No. We supply blank NFC tags only — no data is pre-loaded. We do not sell, program, or distribute any Amiibo files. Customers use Android apps like TagMo to write their own backup data. Please comply with Nintendo's terms of service and applicable laws in your region.
