Product Overview
RFIDSU's Textile RFID Laundry Tags are high-performance UHF RFID tags specifically engineered for the demanding environment of industrial textile and linen management. Built with flexible, soft textile fabric at just 1.5mm thickness, these tags are designed to endure over 200 industrial wash cycles, high-pressure water extraction up to 60 bars, and extreme temperatures — from 90°C washing to 190°C ironing.
Available in a range of standard sizes and compatible with NXP Ucode 8 and Ucode 9 chips under the ISO18000-6C EPC Class1 Gen2 protocol, they deliver reliable read ranges of up to 7 meters with fixed UHF readers, enabling efficient bulk scanning during sorting, counting, and dispatch operations.
With four flexible installation methods — sewing, pouch, hanging, and heat sealing — these tags adapt seamlessly to diverse textile applications. Whether embedded in hotel linens, hospital uniforms, military clothing, or commercial laundry workflows, they maintain consistent RFID performance throughout their entire service life.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many wash cycles can these tags survive?
The textile RFID laundry tags are tested to withstand over 200 industrial wash cycles at 90°C with 60-bar extraction pressure, maintaining full RFID read and write functionality.
What is the actual reading distance?
With a fixed UHF RFID reader (4W EIRP), the tags achieve read ranges up to 7 meters on dry textiles. Read range varies based on tag size, reader power, and textile condition. Handheld readers typically achieve 1–3 meters.
Can these tags withstand direct ironing?
Yes. The textile laundry tags withstand direct ironing at 190°C for up to 12 seconds. For heat-press installation, 210–218°C with adequate pressure for 15–20 seconds is recommended.
How are the tags installed, and can they be reused?
Four installation methods are available: (1) direct sewing onto fabric edges, (2) insertion into a protective pouch then sewing the pouch, (3) hanging with hooks or fasteners, and (4) heat-sealing with a heat-press machine. The pouch method allows tag reuse — when the textile reaches end of life, the pouch can be cut off and re-attached to a new item.
What information can be printed on the tags?
Each tag can be printed with text, serial numbers, EPC/TID numbers, barcodes, and QR codes. Company logos can be added as alphabetic text only. This supports dual identification — visual verification by staff and automated RFID scanning by readers.
