Can paper cards work with my existing hotel door lock system?
Yes, if your current lock system supports MIFARE Classic or MIFARE DESFire chips. The RFID chip inside the paper card is identical to what is used in plastic cards — the difference is only in the card body material. F08 is also a popular cost-effective alternative compatible with MIFARE Classic systems.
Are these cards truly recyclable?
Yes, RFID paper cards can be recycled through standard paper recycling streams. Unlike PVC cards, they do not require specialized plastic recycling facilities. The embedded chip and antenna are minimal in volume and do not preclude paper recycling.
