Product Overview
RFIDSU ARC Approved UHF RFID Labels are purpose-built to meet the Auburn University RFID Lab ARC certification standard — the gold standard for retail RFID compliance. Designed for Walmart's Electronics (D72) and Wireless (D87) departments, these labels ensure consistent read performance across all supply chain touchpoints, from factory floor to store shelf.
Available in both label and hangtag formats, with chip options including Impinj M730 and NXP UCODE 9, each label undergoes full quality and data integrity verification before shipment. We primarily supply blank inlays and blank converted labels — giving you flexibility to print and encode at your own facility.

Applications
Walmart Electronics Compliance
Meets Walmart's mandatory RFID tagging requirement for D72 Electronics and D87 Wireless departments across all U.S. stores.
Retail Item-Level Inventory
Enables store-level inventory accuracy for electronics SKUs, reducing out-of-stock and overstock events.
Supply Chain Traceability
Full visibility from factory to store — carton tracking, DC receiving, and floor replenishment all enabled.
Anti-Counterfeiting
Permalocked SGTIN-96 encoding prevents tag duplication and serial number tampering across the supply chain.
Hangtag & Sticker Integration

Frequently Asked Questions
What does "ARC Approved" mean?
ARC (Approved RFID for Commerce) is a certification program run by the Auburn University RFID Lab. It verifies that RFID inlays meet minimum performance standards for commercial use. For Walmart Electronics and Wireless departments, only inlays from the ARC-approved list may be used.
Which chip should I choose — Impinj M730 or NXP UCODE 9?
Both are ARC-approved and perform comparably in retail environments. Impinj M730 is widely used and offers excellent sensitivity. NXP UCODE 9 provides slightly larger memory. For most Walmart applications, either chip is suitable — our team can recommend based on your specific SKU and packaging.
Do I need to send samples to the Auburn University RFID Lab myself?
Yes, per Walmart's requirements, product suppliers must submit 5 EPC tag samples directly to the RFID Lab for validation before bulk production. RFIDSU provides production-quality samples and full test documentation to support your submission.
What sizes are available, and which does Walmart prefer?
We offer 9 standard sizes. Walmart's preferred inlay sizes are 70×14mm and 50×30mm (±2mm). For hangtags, the standard generic format is 83×25mm with a 70×14mm inlay embedded inside. Use the largest size that fits your packaging.
Can RFIDSU handle encoding and serialization?
Yes. We primarily supply blank inlays and blank converted labels for customers who prefer to print and encode in-house. For customers who need it, we also offer factory encoding using SGTIN-96 per GS1 Tag Data Standards. Each tag can be uniquely serialized, permalocked, and quality-checked before shipment.
